10 Worst PlayStation 4 Games So Far
9. Knack
When you have Lived through enough console generations then you understand that launch titles rarely capitalize on capabilities of a new console, as often it takes few years for developers to begin taking advantage of new hardware potential. Knack is a perfect example of this fact, the game was hyped as a smaller new IP meant to diversify launch lineup of PlayStation 4. Instead, Knack ended up being another forgettable video game.
Knack had the potential and really creative ideas but execution failed to live up to the game’s ambitions. The game was promoted as action/platformer, but there is very little actual exploration or platforming, with stress instead given to combat which can get repetitive. The character of Knack himself had so much potential but is limited in his abilities and whenever he does something cool the controls are just arrested away from you.
All these things are delivered in a story that just fails to engage anyone; yet another disappointment in the game that could have been great and unique. Knack is not completely bad game, there may be some enjoyment but overall it was not big enough leap going from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4 to make a lasting impression.
