NBA 2K17 How to Make Substitutions
NBA 2K17 is the latest basketball game in NBA game series and it is out now for Xbox One and PS 4. PC users have to wait a little bit, it’ll get released for Microsoft Windows on 20th September, 2016.
The new Substitution mechanic in the latest NBA 2K17 is little bit confusing and new to the players. It’s not like what we’ve seen in the previous game NBA 2K16. The substitution system in NBA 2K17 in fairly new and you will have to learn all about it if you want to sub players during the game. Don’t worry, if you do not know how to sub players in the middle of your game, we are here to help.

NBA 2K17 How to Make Substitutions:
If you are playing the game and want to sub players, follow these instructions to substitute players:
- Call for the time out.
- Press Square for PlayStation or X for Xbox to be a coach.
- Use left stick to choose the position.
- Press R2 for PlayStation or RT for Xbox.
- Use right stick to select player you want in your game game; and
- Now if you have selected the player, release the stick and he will be in the game.

This substitution change will not have any affect until the next pause in game. I do not know if it’s a bug or they have changed it completely. If it’s not a bug then it is a strange design that may annoy various players.
If you want to change players before the match, you can do this too. Just go to the menu and select Gameplan and then Substitutions. It’ll show you all the players on the team. Now select the player from your starting five and then select a player from the bench, to make the substitution.
