Destiny Rise of Iron is out now with the increased Light Level cap from 335 to 385. This Light Level gap will definitely provide players some motivation to explore this latest Rise of Iron expansion pack. Remember One thing that this raised Light Level cap of 385 is simply a soft cap and when the hard mode of new Rise of Iron raid launches, this Light Level cap will increase to 400. But it will not happen soon and you will have plenty of time to reach this Light Level 385.

How to Reach Light Level 385 Fast in Destiny Rise of Iron:

Following are some of the ways that you can use to increase your Light Level Fast in Destiny Rise of Iron:

• Complete story missions and quests, they will award you new gears such as Young Wolf’s Howl Sword with a Light level 340. You can infuse your new gear into current gear to get a higher Light Level. Completing different quest/missions will also prepare you for a new Raid and you may be able to get the ‘Wrath of The Machine Raid Loot’ with a Light level of 365/385.
• Visit different vendors to check out new items. The vendor weapons / items that purchased for the Legendary Marks now has increased Light Level to 350.
• Visit the Faction vendor, the Faction Packages now provide items as high as 385 Light.
• Go to Cryptarch and decode old Engrams. When you get the higher Light level items then equip these items or infuse them into the current gear.
• It is now confirmed that the old engrams will decrypt at higher light level. Legendary and Rare Engrams will give you rewards equal/higher than your light level.
• Now Rare Engrams can decode up to a Light Level of 340.
• Now Legendary Engrams can decode up to a Light Level of 365.
• The Legendary Engram Light value will be slow from 350 to 365. In this  range Engrams will provide you some things with increased Light for half the time.
• Now Exotic Engrams can decode up to a Light Level of 385.
• Normal Strikes will grant players rewards up to a Light Level of 340.
• Heroic Strikes will grant players rewards up to a Light Level of 365.
• Strike rewards will drop up to a Light Level of 385.
• When you have increase the Light Level then go to Archon’s Forge. You need a key to do this and if you do not have a key don’t except great loots. Keys are of different types; green keys will have lowest level of enemies, blue keys provide stronger enemies, and the purple or legendary keys provide strongest enemies.
• Variks will provide Armor and Weapons for the Challenge of the Elders score card completions up to the Light level  365.
• Daily Heroics will include selections from the Year 1, 2, and 3 items, and Increases Light to 350.
• If you plan to go for The Taken War Strike Playlist the recommended level is 350 Light. And for the Nightfall the recommended level is 360 Light.
