How To Get Iron Gjallarhorn in Destiny Rise of Iron
Iron Gjallarhorn is Destiny’s most favorite and most famous Exotic Weapon. To find and equip this powerful exotic weapon, you’ll have to complete the story mission of Destiny Rise of Iron. Remember one thing that this exotic weapon is only available for those players who have pre-ordered the Destiny Rise of Iron expansion pack.

Aside from completing the story mission of Rise of Iron to get this powerful weapon, you also need a Splicer Key, 7 Iron Medallions, 5 Dormant SIVA Clusters and you also have to kill plenty of enemies. The quest-line is very lengthy and this is a pretty tough weapon to get so be prepared.

How To Get Iron Gjallarhorn in Destiny Rise of Iron:
The first thing that you should is to break the seal of Book of Records. When you break the seal of that book it’ll start a mission called ‘Echoes of the Past’. Now to complete this mission first you need to complete the story missions of Rise of Iron. After that you will be needing a Splicer Key. You can get the Splicer Key by eliminating Brood Mothers (Hive wizards who has yellow health bars) when you’re on patrol in Plaguelands.
Now travel to the Archon’s Keep and there perform a patrol mission for anomaly scan. It’ll have an icon of a Ghost. If that doesn’t appear, then go to space and come back until you get it, or you can roam around until that icon appears. This will take players underground, past the Archon’s Forge, where they will fight the Fallen Walker. When you defeat the Walker, scan an Iron Medallion it would be behind the Walker. It will unlock a quest called ‘Beauty in Destruction’. Be careful that you won’t fall into a hole next to that medallion.
Now your next task is to find the 7 Iron Medallions. 1st is On the cliff above the Felwinter Peak. 2nd is in the guardhouse which is right from the spawn point of Lord’s Watch. 3rd Medallion is on a ship in Giant Husk area, to the right side of an entrance. It is between the containers on the deck. To get the 4th Iron Medallion, you have to turn right into the Bunker Triglav from a road, hug the left wall and then turn left after a B door.

5th Iron medallion is next to the large ball on a bridge in the Forgotten Pass. 6th Iron Medallion is next to an entrance to the Archon’s Keep. And finally to find the last and final Iron Medallion you will enter Site 6, then hug the left wall and after that turn left. You will see this medallion in the corner next to a large red pipe.
After collecting all the Iron Medallions go to the Bannerfall and complete a mission called Symbol of Honor in old Russia on Earth.

Now go back to Earth and find all the pieces to create Gjallarhorn. While your ghost trying to repair Gjallarhorn in Beauty in Delivery quest you have to defeat various waves of Fallen. It is pretty hard, just hide in a room where the ghost is building the Gjallarhorn, there is ample cover there in the room, kill all the enemies from there. When you defeat the enemy’s boss, the enemies will stop spawning.

At the end, you will be rewarded with the Year 3 Gjallarhorn at a Light Level of 350. If you have pre-ordered this expansion, then your Iron Gjallarhorn pre-order bonus will now be available to use. You can easily pick it up from a Postmaster, if you have not picked it up already.
