Tom Clancy’s The Division Dark Zone Guide
Tom Clancy’s The Division Dark Zone Guide
Tom Clancy’s The Division Dark Zone is a separate area in the Manhattan and a place for PvP (Player vs Player) fights. In this Zone you also have most powerful and rare loots in the game. Tom Clancy’s The Division Dark Zone is separate due to suspected flue virus and when in this area you will lost all communication from the outside world. Due the Virus and contamination in the Dark Zone, you should wear gas mask before entering in this zone.
You can enter in Dark Zone area from many points such as gates, checkpoints. In this area there are no specific missions but there are other things that you can do in this area. You can secure SHD containers which are heavily guarded to clear Landmarks or you can visit this area for rare and powerful loots.
When in the Dark Zone, you basic rank system that you have outside the zone won’t work here. You get DZ XP which means Dark Zone Experience points by killing agents or NPCs. By gaining these XP points you rank will increase here and on the basis of your rank you will get the better items and equipment. If your rank is higher you will get rare items, crafting recopies or equipment.
In this zone, if you kill any AI controlled enemies or other SHD agents you will be ranked as “Rogue” agent. and if you still go on this way your Rouge rank will increase, level 5 is the maximum you can get. When you are a Rouge Agent every one can see you on their map as a skull icon and know of your location. You can remove this Rouge Status by not killing anyone for 5 minutes and your rank will be reset to normal. On the 5th Rogue level there will be bounty on you and whoever kills you get the bounty and some of your DZ XP. If you manage to survive those 5 minute time you will get your own bounty.
If you die in this zone your rank will decrease and you will lose your DZ XPs based on your rank. If someone kills you in the Dark Zone while you are ranked as rouge that’s pretty deadly as it sounds because then you will lose lot of XPs and currency.
You will not find any scoreboard or any table with winners in this Zone, its not a type of classic multiplayer. Here you will be viewed from the rank prospective of your character. PVP mode is enabled from the start so if you want to avoid fights with other player Dark Zone is not for you, but keep in mind one thing that rare and powerful items are only in the Dark Zone so if you want these items you have to visit this area one day.
