Fallout 4 Far Harbor Islander’s Almanac Locations

The latest Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC has new magazine which consists of 5 issues. These magazines are scattered all over the map. When you collect all these 5 issues of the magazines, you will then be able to unlock an achievement/trophy called Islander’s Almanac Achievement.

The 2nd issue of Islander’s Almanac magazine will provide you a perk that will increase VATS chance against the animals while the other issues of the magazine are recipes that you can use at Chemistry Station, the 1st magazine also unlocks POI map makers. Islander’s Almanac Magazine – 1st Issue:

The first issue of the magazine can be found at the very beginning of the Far Harbor. The name of this issue is ‘Far Harbor Sightseer’s Guide’. You will find it inside The Last Plank shack. Once you are inside, you will find a small table in a corner, the 1st magazine is on this table. When you get the 1st issue of Islander’s Almanac it will also unlock the POI map makers.

Islander’s Almanac Magazine – 2nd Issue:

The 2nd issue of the magazine can be found in Brooke’s Head Lighthouse. Go to the fourth floor and then turn to your left. Use wooden ladders to go into a room at the top of this Lighthouse. Next to a Vase you will see a wooden table, on this table you’ll find the Islander’s Almanac Magazine. After getting this you will also unlock a perk that will increase your VATS chance by 5% against animal combats.

Islander’s Almanac Magazine – 3rd Issue:

This issue of Islander’s Almanac Magazine can be found in National Park Visitor’s Center. At the entrance you will see a gift shop on the right side. At the counter of this gift shop you can see the magazine. This magazine issue will unlock Sludge based recipes that you can use at Chemistry Station.

Islander’s Almanac Magazine – 4th Issue:

The 4th issue of Islander’s Almanac Magazine is called ‘Children of atom expose’ and it can be found in Acadia building. At the entrance turn to right and use stairs to go down. You will find the magazine on the desk on the first floor room. With this magazine you will unlock 10% less damage from any Radiation attack.

Islander’s Almanac Magazine – 5th Issue:

The 5th and the last Islander’s Almanac Magazine is called Pincer Dodge and it can be found at Northwood Ridge Quarry which is located at the west  of Cranberry Island Bog. At the entrance follow a tunnel and then turn right where you will see wooden stairs. use these wooden stairs to find a log cabin. Inside this cabin you will find the last issue of Islander’s Almanac Magazine. With this find you will unlock 5% less damage from the Mirelurk melee attacks.
