Destiny Rise of Iron is the latest expansion pack for the game and with this new DLC we also got pretty new weapons, missions, quests, gears and other similar stuff. The new expansion pack also changed some things and now some things are different to how they were in the past.
Iron Banner Rank 5 is one of those things, in past it was very clear that when you it rank 5, you buy rank 5 items, you get some bounties hand those bounties and job done. As we mentioned earlier, previously when a player reach Iron Banner rank 5 he will buy rank 5 items and collect some bounties but this time there is a quest to complete.
And now the question you may be asking is that is this quest lead to something awesome? Well the answer is yes and no. If weapons are your thing then yes but if you expect something exotic weapon or special emblem then the answer is no.
Well the quest is just another way to track your progress to rank 5. You complete the quest get to rank 5 and you’ll get the reward. These rewards will be around 385 or 386 Light, will you get these rewards even if you are at low level light well that part I don’t know and we have to see for ourselves. But I do know one thing that these rewards are pretty nice.
Below are the some of the rewards that you will get when you complete the quest and hit the Iron Banner Rank 5;
Iron Banner Rank 5 Quest Reward – The Clever Dragon (Pulse Rifle):
The Clever Dragon is one of the coolest looking Pulse rifle you will ever see in Iron Banner. It has the double blades on it one on the top pointing up and one at the bottom pointing down. This pulse rifle have some really cool perks too. It has Kinetic Damage which is pretty standard for primary weapons now. You will have a choice between Iron Red Dot, Iron Warrior Sight and Iron and Iron Ranged Scope.
Then you will have a choice between SmallBore and Braced Frame. After that you will have Armor Piercing Rounds and High Caliber Rounds which are very nice in the Crucibles if you are using it and not so nice if you are at the receiving end.
And in the final column you will have a choice between HeadSeeker and Feeding Frenzy. So that is a pretty good drop from handing in a Iron Banner Rank 5 Quest. But the reward is not fixed you may also get something else such as the below weapon.
Iron Banner Rank 5 Quest Reward – The Laughing Heart (Sniper Rifle):
The Laughing Heart is actually the Iron Banner version of the one that you get in Archon’s Forge. It is pretty much identical but it has an Iron Banner Sigil on it and it does look pretty cool. For this you will get Arc Damage in the first column and then you will have a choice between Linear Compensator, Accurized Ballistics and Field Choke.
Then you can choose between Hand-Laid Stock, Hammer Forged, Quick Draw and Single Point Sling. And finally in the last column you will have Firefly and Life Support. All these customization options will depend on how you are going to use this weapon.
It would have some utility in PvE, especially if you go with the Firefly. Well, that’s a sniper rifle that you may get after completing the Iron Banner Rank 5 Quest.
Well what you will get after the quest is pretty random some people got Fusion Rifle and some got the above Pulse Rifle and then there are others who got the sniper rifle. Well, the long story short is when you hand in the final quest you will not get any crazy or exotic item or it doesn’t lead to any secret exotic quest. It is literally just another weapon.
