In order to increase the render resolution, open Library in Origin and open game properties by right clicking on game’s icon. Then type “Render.ResolutionScale 2.0” and click apply. If you do not like the double setting you can set it to 1.5.

To disable the Film Grain Filter got to Documents\Need for Speed\settings and open PROFILEOPTIONS_profile in note pad or any other text editor and find “FilmGrain 1” and change this to “GstRender.FilmGrain 0” after that save the file and your done.
Need for Speed 2016 Crashed – Loading after the Tutorial:
Need for Speed 2016 may crash when you try to load the game after completing the tutorial. While playing the game on Windows 8 and with two AMD GPUs with Crossfire function your game may crash when you load the game after completing the tutorial. To solve this problem, you have two workarounds, first update your graphics card drivers and second is disable the Crossfire function and unplug the cable used for Crossfire. Just apply a workaround that work for you.
Need for Speed 2016 – Black Screen Problem:
While playing Need for Speed 2016 some players have issues with the black screen crash, to solve this issue you need to play the game in windowed mode. But at the start of the game there are no settings to change the screen setting from “Full Screen” to ” Windowed Mode” and you have to play the tutorial first. Just don’t panic and play the tutorial and every time it says to enter any key and you see the black screen just press “Alt+Enter” on the keyboard to enter in windowed mode then press the required key and again press “Alt+Enter” to return to the normal full screen mode. You may have to do this for few times, when the tutorial is finished and you are in the training mission then open the world map by pressing “Esc“, here just press “Page Up” to open PC Settings and change your “Full Screen” to ” Windowed Mode“. That’s it no more black screens after this, but remember by applying the above workaround you will be playing Need for Speed 2016 in “windowed mode”.
