But still some PC gamers are facing some issues while playing Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster such as low fps, black screens, lag, camera transition issues and crashes. Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster – Game Does Not Start After Installation:
When you install Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster for the first time on your computer and face this problem that the game won’t start you may need to verify local game’s files through your steam account. For this, open Steam and to game library, right click on Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster and open properties. In this tab go in Local Files and Verify Integrity of Game Cache!

Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster – Blank Screen:
Black Screen issue occurs when you start the game and it crashes and gives a black screen. Verifying the game cache might help in this regard but if for some reason you still get a black screen error try deleting the config file of the game that can be found in the above given location. Don’t worry because when you start the game next time the config file will automatically be created at that location and game will run fine.
Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster – Launch Error after Applying New Settings for Graphics:
If your game won’t start after applying new settings for graphics, you have to delete the config file that can be found in the above given location to play the game. There is no official fix for this problem we have to wait for a patch to release to solve the issue. By deleting the config file you will be able to play the game on default settings!
Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster – Black Screen after Capcom logo Error:
If you got stuck at the Capcom Logo or you see a very long black screen after the Capcom logo you may have to replace a WMVCore.dll file that is causing the issue, just download the file and place this in your game install folder/directory.
Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster – Low FPS:
Like other games Low FPS issue is very common, this issue has nothing to do with the game itself. The issue is caused by hardware and you can solve this by checking minimum and recommended system requirements for the game you can find these requirements at the start of this guide. You may also update your graphics card drivers to solve this issue or if your are using overclock settings, try to set these to default to have a better performance. If you are running GPU related software such as EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner, try to kill these apps before Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster.

If you are facing camera stutter or any other transition lag in the game such as while opening doors etc. you can reduce game resolution or turn off Vysnc.

If you are having this issue with your game, just close the game and right click on the game and choose Run as Administrator. If you still has the issue you may also set resolution to 640×480 in compatibility tab, for this just right click on the game click on properties and open Compatibility tab and tick the “Run in 640×480 Screen Resolution”.

If you are having this White Border issue you can delete the config file and relaunch the game. But if you still has the issue then you have to do some modifications in registry files of Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster. For that open registry folder by pressing the Windows + R buttons at the same time and type regedit in the search box and press enter. Then go to this location
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Dir¬ect3D\Shims\MaximizedWindowedMode
and find & delete bhd.exe file.
